Description
Dried Senna Leaves are used as a cathartic for the treatment of constipation, anal-fissures, anti-diarrheal, anti-inflammatory, cellular regeneration, cleansing, detoxifying, and hemorrhoids. It can also be used before and after surgery. The leaves can be steeped in hot or cold water, and the powder or tincture can be taken before bed. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and avoid using it if you have a history of lazy bowel syndrome. Overdose can lead to stomach cramps and diarrhea.
Traditionally, tea made from Dried Senna Leaves has been used for a wide variety of inflammatory conditions, including headaches, fevers, and inflammation of joints and tissues.

HOW TO USE
Steep the dried leaves (1tsp) or 3-6 pods in warm water for 10 15 min hot infusion
Steep in cold water for 6 8 hours cold infusion .
Powder (1/4tsp) as purgative
Tincture: take 2-4 ml of the tincture taken before bed
FOR YOUR SAFETY
Do not use for longer than 10 days. Always remember that constipation is the cause of something else and the this should be sought and dealt with.
Habitual use will cause lazy bowel syndrome.
Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Overdose can lead to painful stomach cramps and diarrhea.
It can be corrected with 1/4 amount of a stomachic herb like ginger or fennel seeds with the dose.
May cause contact dermatitis.
Can cause nausea, vomiting, and may lead to inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract.
